We do too and have enjoyed the last 18 years, but we’ve need more patron sustainers or business sponsors to be able to continue bringing [Strings Attached] shows that feature new arrangements, amazing local artists and cool classic rock re-imaginings to you week after week and year after year.
Why?
Unfortunately, the devaluation of live, recorded music and the saturation of the market, even right here in Austin, the supposed “Live Music Capital of the World”, and the demands and time involved in producing a high caliber world class experience each week have made the weekly residency UNSUSTAINABLE without patron support. Ways you can help. (Most of the at no cost)
We have set a goal of 200 patron sustainers by April 30, 2017, in order to continue.

We truly want to continue the work we love: shining the spotlight on the talent right here Austin with high quality rehearsed shows every week with folks like David Grissom, Redd Volkaert, Guy Forsyth and more, producing moving themed shows, all on a donation basis, helping local college students learn about music production through our internship program, visiting folks in need, broadcasting and archiving the live shows for the world to tune in and discover/enjoy, and composing new original music and arrangements. If we are short of our goal, I will discontinue all donation-based public concerts, but will continue the patron-only quarterly house concerts.

Strings Attached has performed with 4 Grammy award winners with 5 Grammys among them, and 7 Grammy nominees with at least 26 nominations among them and one Rock and Roll ‘Hall of Famer.’
The past 20+ years here in Austin my violin and string playing friends have bopped around town playing, recording and producing shows with folks like Gary Clark Jr., Willie Nelson, Joe Ely, Jimmy LaFave, Pearl Jam on Austin City Limits, Eliza Gilkyson, Bob Schneider, P Diddy, Grammy Award winner Shawn Colvin and hundreds of other wonderful music makers that makeup the musical fabric of Austin, Texas.
We’ve done tribute shows to Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Stevie Wonder, Paul Simon, Pink Floyd and many more in addition to our original music and local songwriter explorations with folks like Shawn Colvin, Slaid Cleaves, and Eliza Gilkyson.
